Friday Meal Plan Traditional Spaghetti Supper
TGIF! I hope the week has been good and your fall has been cool, crisp and full of apple and pumpkin goodness:) This week, I have decided to begin sharing some practical ways you can combine the best of my Kitchen recipes to make some yummy meals for your family!
It is really simple. Each week, I’m going to pull from my delicious archives some recipes that together make a pretty awesome meal. “What You Need” will tell you all of the items you need to make these meals. It may look long but once you read over it, you will see most of the items are things you probably have already (salt, pepper, sugar etc.). If a recipe is make ahead or freezer friendly that will be indicated next. “What To Make” is the heart of this and includes links to each of the recipes I’ve selected so you can get cooking. Now let’s dive in shall we?

This meal is a Sunday winner that while it takes a bit of prep work and a few hours to let the dough rise, every single item can be both made ahead and frozen for later as all of these items reheat well and taste just as amazing another day. This plan is a perfect example of when you can use a day at home to make a great meal for that night and a few others. The meatball and pasta sauce recipes can be doubled and the bread recipe makes two loaves. If you wish to make more bread, do not double the recipe, just mix up another batch after the first one is rising.
Use this plan exactly as is or pick and choose what you feel like making. If you are feeling extra adventurous, take some pics as you are cooking and share over at Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #littleprairiekitchen so I can see your awesome food!
